A Case for Hemp

While I am not one to usually chime in on this, I would like to at least give a few words about the commercial potential for industrial hemp. I myself was a user of pot, the kind you smoke to get “high”, but I have given that up in pursuit of more useful things, such as clear thought and persistent memory.  However over the years I have investigated and learned that there is great potential in industrial hemp. With the spotlight currently on the proposals being presented by Colorado, Washington, and Oregon, as test cases for the medical use, and possible recreational use of marijuana, I thought I would again consider the potential for commercial production of industrial hemp.  Although there is greater potential for the production of medical marijuana, there is still exceptional value and potential in the production of industrial hemp. Letter to My Representatives

Letter to My Representatives January 18, 2012 I know as my representative you are not supporting these bills, SOPA and PIPA.  As I know your being of above average intellect and concern for our welfare would not support such measures as they would create long term devastating ramifications to our economy and not achieve the designed or indicated results.   Therefore this letter is but a formality to ensure you that I support your effort to kill these bills before they are put before our President, as we all know his job is hard enough without the addition of making decisions on legislation that should not be presented in the first place. Thank you, and expect additional letters from me in the future congratulating you on your efforts, and concerning the Farm Bill.  As a farmer who also is heavily involved in the Internet, these two efforts for me intertwine. From the Alex Jones Prison Planet file Finance

http://www.prisonplanet.com/aig-reports-record-loss-as-us-rescues-insurer-again.html This article requires further investigation, but it does indicate what I have been investigating on the movement of the capital from the treasury into foreign hands. I am still looking into this and will post additional information as I discover further details. However, it should be noted that as we continue to approve of supporting these financiers because they are to important to let fail, we must remember that we have only ourselves to blame when they have taken all our money and are laughing at us as we suffer in debt we can never repay.

Another comment From Mike's Blog

This is a comment I made on Mike's Blog on MySpace, in response to a comment by another commenter . I hate to be the barer of such, but you assumption that I assumed is incorrect, in that I based my "assumptions" from your misunderstanding, which is not uncommon, but actually the precise education achieved through years of public education. That you believe that the Constitution is a document that gives us freedom from the obligation to the British Crown, you therefore do not understand the language of the Constitution. The belief that General George Washington was fighting for our freedom is a gross misconception. The Continental United States of America were fighting for representation not independence in the sense that we are made to believe. That you as well do not know me, as I do not know you, I was responding directly to your words, as you provided, and given that you continue with your belief indicates that you are yet to understand that I am not an advocate ...

And you Have the Key

This post by a good friend of mine, provides a great parable of the times. Check it out on his MySpace blog.
What Now I thinking, breathing, wondering, because although I sort of knew that Obama would win, what does that mean? I have taken a look around and there are no candles to speak of. Most everyone has gone to bed, no worries in their heads, content that they have the right decision. All I keep thinking is; did they just give up, are they just lying down, calling it quits. Have they gotten tired and just want to retire. But oh no, there it is, just out of sight, like they want him to be, Bidden, his time is yet to come.
Founding of a New Foundation for Real People This is a Draft Document Version One Series One This project is tentatively called Working Class Heroes or A Working Class Hero is Something to Be Supporting the working class heroes. The organization is not for the people who do not work, but for those that have and continue to work. The working class heroes of the world. It is hard to find help for those that are working and are not homeless, but are in the situation where if they do not receive some type of assistance they soon will be homeless and without a job. Or perhaps they have worked, and because of some incidence be it injury or otherwise, are no longer working, or able to work in the traditional way that they are accustomed. Yes there is some assistance to some of these people, but often not without breaking their pride, or destroying their dignity. Is it necessary to break them even more so, as if their years of labor and thankless toil were not enough to break their spir...
John McCain Will Focus Farm Policy on Those With Clear Need. John McCain will veto any bill containing special-interest favors and corporate welfare in any form. As president, John McCain will base our farm policy on the common good, with policies that help our small farmers to succeed, and our rural communities to survive and flourish once again. John McCain opposes providing billions to subsidize large commercial farms—those farms with an average income of $200,000, and an average net worth of $2 million--while American workers and taxpayers struggle to buy food due to rising prices. As president, McCain will seek to cap subsidies to farmers whose adjusted gross income exceeds $250,000. This will ensure that small farmers are provided with a reasonable safety net, while protecting the taxpayers from subsidizing lucrative corporate farmers. He will fight to put an end to flawed government policies that distort the markets, artificially raise prices for consumers, and pit producers aga...
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 29, 2008 Shocking Choice by John McCain WASHINGTON-- Senator John McCain just announced his choice for running mate: Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska. To follow is a statement by Rodger Schlickeisen, president of Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund. “Senator McCain’s choice for a running mate is beyond belief. By choosing Sarah Palin, McCain has clearly made a decision to continue the Bush legacy of destructive environmental policies. “Sarah Palin, whose husband works for BP (formerly British Petroleum), has repeatedly put special interests first when it comes to the environment. In her scant two years as governor, she has lobbied aggressively to open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling, pushed for more drilling off of Alaska’s coasts, and put special interests above science. Ms. Palin has made it clear through her actions that she is unwilling to do even as much as the Bush administration to address the impacts of global warming. Her most rece...
I've Seen This for a While Now The Coming Re-becoming Yet another great piece by James Howard Kunstler, on Cluster Fuck Nation. If you do drive around at all and you have not observed this condition, then reading this article will be a waste of time. If have noticed the slow burn of the country, from within, then reading this will only re-enforce your convictions. So either go back to watching the dribble on TV and go back to sleep safe in the thought that the Mole was discovered. Or, or you could look around and realize that the fairy tale is over, and maybe do something about it. Whatever, James
Facism is at Least Honest Re: From Heather's Blog Original Re: culture whores tribe Most excellent re-post. However fascism would be preferable to a false democracy or republic. Fascism is only observable from outside the state. Those that live within are blind to the regime. History has demonstrated the class system is permanent in human nature. The classes that exist are so well developed that even those that are in their particular class do not acknowledge their own class. Only the very top of the class system has the ability to see the classes that are below them. Let us examine the basis of this. The top one percent in the class system is always the top one percent. Two factors do not change. The top one percent, and the bottom 64% of the classes. Where the changes occur is in the top 5%, the middle 10%, and the middle 20% of the classes. Reviewing this we have 1%, 5%, 10%, 20%, and the 64% remaining. The top one percent are likened to gods, or divine influence. T...
