Answers I Have Not, Questions a Many

At the end of the day, homelessness means nothing to me.  Of what use do I need a home, I have no family, I have no friends, and only my words keep me company.  I can always climb back into the bottle and practice the great art of slow deliberate suicide by bottle. It is the love of my life, my beautiful and caring wife Arleta who I strive for.  If not for her I would not most likely be here today to write this, and there are plenty of people who would most likely prefer it was that way. I read the comments, go to social services, or other such services, you don’t think we didn’t consider that.  Even though it pains me to do so, we have, but they have no help for us, especially for us to move away from the services.  The pure ignorance that I run into all the time just makes me ill.  You all say you can’t help others, but you will gladly go to your local church and put $10.00 every week into their coffers.  For what a chance at salvation, reall...

Today, Tomorrow, Next Week...

Some things to worry about, some things not to worry about. The end of the world, point blank, not something to worry about.  If it all ended tomorrow, it would not matter today, you can not prepare for it.  If the world ceases to be habitable, you are going to die, but it won't matter because you will be dead.  Further, I don't think this will happen, so I don't focus on it. World Domination, by some group or another, not something to worry about.  One, there is not one group, but several, and even if they can get together for a moment and make a decision at least long enough to get control of the world economy and maybe even other things, they can not hold it together very long.  This has been tried for ages, believe it or not, it has been the goal of many groups, the Romans, the Egyptians, the Mongols, the Gauls, and the list goes on.  The reason they were not able to do it, is the same reason that no one else will be able to do it, nature doesn't w...

Done to Ourselves (facebook repost)

Upon reading several post, and with current knowledge of understanding, it is not surprising to me that which is presented here. However it is only half of the story, if even that much. First do not blame the governments or other entities as they were not the ones that allowed this to happen, we the people allowed it to happen. We cried out for this, and gave the people with whom we entrusted the ability and writ to do so. That and we spoke with our dollars. We continued to purchase goods at Walmarts and their ilk sending our dollars to these countries. We continued to show with our purchasing dollars and our willingness to be overtly subdued by media, that we wanted this. We are the cause of our own misfortune. Do not blame the opportunist for taking advantage of the opportunity we afforded them. The fact is this was done before any of us were alive. These deals you talk about are only the overt movements of what was covert long ago before we even were aware of life, period. ...
Yet to Notice Anyone I have yet to notice that anyone pays any attention to anything that might be of consequence. That all that occupies the minds of the average citizen is far from important, and that we as a society are too easily distracted by shiny objectives. That we are easily directed and have very little individual thought, outside of what we think will impress the others in our close social groupings. This odd behavior is perhaps born in, or bred in, but either way it presents a very disturbing effect, presenting itself as a path to local control through very deceptive practices that can at least in most cases seem like beneficial practices at least to the practitioners of such practices. I am left to assume that although not hopeless, the human species is helpless in their survival of anything that may be more cataclysmic than a simple hurricane or thunderstorm. I do not like this need to assume, but at this point it is what remains of a thought, of an old thought, that...
You got Soul That certain something and you don’t know what it is. You can not touch it; it is just there, that you are certain about. How can you be certain about something that for all intents and purposes does not exist? Something that only the priests tell you is real, is worth anything at all, and in most cases is more important than the physical self. How can you be certain that it does exist, and what is it? What if it was eternal, continuous and not nearly as mysterious as it is made out to be? Maybe it is something so simple that even our best scientists are unable to grasp the truth of the soul. First you must accept that the soul is a label of religion. The same internal something that drives our will to survive and our need to reproduce, could very well be that same something that we “think” is immaterial. Are you ready for this, there is no soul, in the common sense of the word, but there is something that is in every one of us, as well as every other living and m...
Energy As simple as it seems, energy is the force that creates life, as we know it, and as we do not know it. When we think about energy, we usually think about light and heat, and some other common forms of energy in their various stages of decay. What we do not understand is that energy takes many forms, is in many states, and at once it is always decaying at a rate that is imperceptible to us, although we should be able to understand it, because we as an entity are born to die. Now you would ask how energy would have intellect. That is not what energy does for us, the various synapse that fire in our brains that are taken for intellect are forms of energy that we mistake as our own creation, which they are not. They are parts of the greater purpose, to reproduce carbon copies. Our urges, our desires are fine tuned through ages of repetition and training to survive in a different atmosphere. As we are creations of elemental concoctions driven by energy decay, we are no less th...
This is some old Jazz I wrote a few years ago, just thought I would put it up here, and that way I could edit it for use later maybe. No books to guide us in our way, only the elements of order, in their own way, so free and boundless, only natural selection can be this random. This is a distinct advantage, for we are not bound by particulars and interpretations. Probably the most difficult part is the label. I have never been good with labels. When you label something it becomes something else, not precisely what it was. Nothing becomes nothing because we attach a certain meaning to that. Therefore to properly name something the intonation intones with that name are carried over. People are most comfortable with names. Without them discussion is difficult. How do you discuss or study, whatever. There are no tombs of text from which to draw upon. From what scrolls do we pull our rituals, and ceremony? Without these trappings of literature, how are we to determine who we are?...
