NAIS, Agriculture, and Government

NAIS, Agriculture, and Government What are we to do? Although I haven't read a lot about this, I have read enough to form at least a basic understanding.  As I look at my dairy, and the potential for using technology, I already will include radio tags for my cattle.  This is an expense that will assist me in identification of my cattle, for breeding and milking.  I have a strong database that tracks the linage of my cattle so that I can document the genetics, for breed conservancy.  I also track their health in many, many documents, all electronically documented in my database.  I also track their food through the same database, so I can be certain that we are feeding a high quality feed to our cattle.  I track their milk production and heat or dry stages, and other details, and all of this is helped by my use of radio identification.  I track their behavior as well, using herd notes (written by the herd manager, the milker, and by my personal observation), using radio tracking
I have of late been studying the Law of Attraction. Through my study I have seen that it is possible that what you think, what you feel, is what manifest. This I do believe, but I feel also that it is not quite that simple. I have run into this positive force concept over many years, and it has for some worked, but I wonder why has it not worked for me? The value of thought, the purpose of thought, becomes that which you desire. From desire come obsession, and from obsession comes consumption, and from consumption comes manifestation. It is our reluctance to obsess that prevents us from manifesting our desires. At one time I used to obsess, and from this I achieved some measure of success, but it was tainted with my cynical distaste for resource. Therefore I developed a fear of success, and with that only undid what I was attempting to do. I said it will not happen, so no matter how much I put forth into making it happen, it did not, because I was certain that it would not. Thi

Organic Dairy Farm Operation

Organic Dairy Farm Operation My research has lead me to believe that an organic dairy operation would be more valuable in the long run, as part of a larger organic farm operation.  It is not exclusively the increase in cost off set by the increase in value to the milk that is the determining factor, but that it is part of a more dynamic farming operation.  To make the farm profitable in these times of economic instability, it is necessary to farm dynamically.  This means integrated practices, and diversified operations.  This is good for the farm itself, but also for the community in which it operates.  A fully operating dairy will employ a small number of people from the local area, providing them often with more than just a paycheck, but with many other benefits, such as housing if needed, and products at substantial discounts, if not part of their benefits themselves.  A well developed diversified farm operation can provide even more jobs for the community in many other areas th

Tribe 2 a treatise

Tribe 2 a treatise The gathering of the tribe, or more percisely, the assembling of a crack team designed to figure out what it all means.  For instance I know that everything has signifigance and purpose.  Not only that but also everything has intercate workings that affect the general or greater workings. If we look far enough back, there's extreamly simplistic knowledge, that is elite, or closely held.  Dilution of this knowledge prepares it for the masses, while the elite can still exist without disclosing their purpose.  The simple lies inside the complex and the complex is inside the simple, a very cleaver method of obscuring origin while leading the ignorant masses towards a very different direction.  Furthermore if the complex is simple and the simple complex, how how then are we to decipher the difference, or better yet the similarities.   Something so simple it alludes us and we seek a more complex solution.  So we take our cue from from that, and from the example
What Now I thinking, breathing, wondering, because although I sort of knew that Obama would win, what does that mean? I have taken a look around and there are no candles to speak of. Most everyone has gone to bed, no worries in their heads, content that they have the right decision. All I keep thinking is; did they just give up, are they just lying down, calling it quits. Have they gotten tired and just want to retire. But oh no, there it is, just out of sight, like they want him to be, Bidden, his time is yet to come.
For and to whomever it concerns. Let this be the next installment in indecision. What do I do, to change the wave of nothing that exist in this current situation. I sit here, looking at the potential, with no reality interjected, what can be of this.

Bloomberg.com: Canada

Bloomberg.com: Canada Bank of Canada Joins Global Central Banks in Providing Funds Bloomberg Report Again my favorite business media reports about the raising global economic crisis. And again they fluff the story, softening the edges so it won't hurt so much. I guess you get what you want from the media slime, but in the story is part of the puzzle if you are willing to look for it. Keep ignoring the reality and eventually your fantasy will turn into that reality that you wished was only a Hollywood blockbuster. Watch another episode of (insert reality TV program)and try to remember what it was like when we had the opportunity to claim our freedom form the lord and protector now waiting for you all to hand them the reigns. Sleep well James

Bloomberg.com:

Bloomberg.com: U.S. Morgan Stanley Said to Mull Deal; Wachovia Calls Mack (Update3) By Christine Harper and Jonathan Keehner Sept. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Morgan Stanley is weighing a merger with Wachovia Corp. and several other banks as the securities firm seeks to regain investor confidence after its shares sank 42 percent this week, people familiar with the matter said. Morgan Stanley, merger... hmm what would this mean? Let us take a quick look back at this week. Lehman Brothers bankrupt, AIG bailed out by the tax payers (so fat cats don't lose all their money), and Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs take a dive on the markets. This is in addition to Merrill Lynch sold to Bank of America, the loss of Bear Sterns, the near crash of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, so what is going on? If you watch the media heads, this is beginning of the domino effect, globally. Yes Global! Not just the financial stocks either, have you taken a look at Google stock, ouch. The TV continues to pour out s
I want to thank Bethany for her helpful comment on my blog about fund raising . I have checked out her pages at DRINK-A-THON for Blood:Water Mission , and I am checking out this program as well. However I am already considering this and again the success is based in your friends network. So Thank You Bethany for the comment, and hopefully it will help me find more ways to help more people. If anyone reads my blog they will see that I am trying to help more people, and maybe this will help.
Financial Gain to Someone I don't now if anyone has been paying any attention to the recent (which in truth is not recent at all), financial situation, but it is not what it appears. Has anyone been listening to the talking heads, and corporate media bots, they are listening to the political spin doctors, and feeding us disinformation of such magnitude, it is almost hilarious to an extraction.
Chasing the money? How do I chase the money? When I need to look for a way to fund something, I look through ways to raise money online. I hear about all types of people who have raised money through the internet for whatever causes. I keep trying to find these people, figure out what it is that they did, and how I can apply that to my situation. So far nothing is coming out of my search.
Searching for the support for people is endless. There are thousands of people who need assistance and billions of dollars available, and hundreds of organizations that tap those dollars to provide those funds for individuals, if only all that could be brought together. As I look for funding to assist others I realize that it is the convoluted process that angers me, and why I believe that most other people are unable to find help on their own. This is just more of why I must help others, but in some way it helps me as well to better understand why they need the help in the first place.
Founding of a New Foundation for Real People This is a Draft Document Version One Series One This project is tentatively called Working Class Heroes or A Working Class Hero is Something to Be Supporting the working class heroes. The organization is not for the people who do not work, but for those that have and continue to work. The working class heroes of the world. It is hard to find help for those that are working and are not homeless, but are in the situation where if they do not receive some type of assistance they soon will be homeless and without a job. Or perhaps they have worked, and because of some incidence be it injury or otherwise, are no longer working, or able to work in the traditional way that they are accustomed. Yes there is some assistance to some of these people, but often not without breaking their pride, or destroying their dignity. Is it necessary to break them even more so, as if their years of labor and thankless toil were not enough to break their spir
Can Water Survive? Will you survive the loss of water ? Series One Edition One "Today in our advanced and modern society we believe we have to sacrifice everything including the water of this planet we inhabit (for the time being) in order to continue the "progress" and our so-called "welfare." We are rapidly destroying water's life-giving capacities. Increased population, industrial wastes and agricultural chemicals are contaminating our water sources. The citizens of our "consumer/waste" society have unfortunately lost all respect and deference for water and Mother Nature." A quote from the " Nordic Living Water Systems " website. The question is can water survive our consumer lifestyle? Can it live when we continuously try to kill the water that gives us life. So I guess the question is can we survive the death of water? Water filtration is an option to many people, if not all people, depending on how you view water filtration
The Speed of Light... 1/3 less speed than any other speed I moved from Rochester, NY to just south of Geneva, NY, this past May 2008. Although I like the area much better, many more farms, there are a few things that bother me. First is the lack of broadband internet service. When I lived in Rochester I was able to get Roadrunner service, and as much as I like to dislike Time Warner , especially since they wouldn't hire me when I lived in Rochester, I have to give them credit for having the best internet service. Living here in the back and beyond sucks for internet service. All I can get is dial up service, and even at that it is rather slow service. Going from Roadrunner turbo to dial up is like having a limb cut off. Well maybe not quite that bad, but almost. And why is it that I can not get broadband service here? I live all of 6/10 of a mile from a major roadway that is serviced by Time Warner , as well as by Verizon DSL. So what is up with that, they can't put
Good Morning Peoples; Here I am another day with out a job or money, waiting for the hammer to fall. I will be with you all day, looking through the web and finding out what I can about whatever intrigues me, and maybe it will you too. I will also be providing little bits of advice when the inspiration hits me. So hang tight, and hang on, 'cause were gonna have some fun. Peace peoples, James
John McCain Will Focus Farm Policy on Those With Clear Need. John McCain will veto any bill containing special-interest favors and corporate welfare in any form. As president, John McCain will base our farm policy on the common good, with policies that help our small farmers to succeed, and our rural communities to survive and flourish once again. John McCain opposes providing billions to subsidize large commercial farms—those farms with an average income of $200,000, and an average net worth of $2 million--while American workers and taxpayers struggle to buy food due to rising prices. As president, McCain will seek to cap subsidies to farmers whose adjusted gross income exceeds $250,000. This will ensure that small farmers are provided with a reasonable safety net, while protecting the taxpayers from subsidizing lucrative corporate farmers. He will fight to put an end to flawed government policies that distort the markets, artificially raise prices for consumers, and pit producers aga
"I'm again'm" Alex Jones Well that's nice. No, I am not against Alex Jones , or what he does. As misguided as he might be, in some areas, I listen to him, accept his opinion, and often comment on his articles. He is doing some good stuff out there, but he like others like him, are missing part of the story. David Icke has the same problem, missing some of the puzzle. I am not saying I have the puzzle completed, all I am saying is I know I am missing something, and that I think is the difference. Today listening to Alex, I heard him go on about the New World Order, and how he is against them, no matter what they are for. He just opposes them, no matter what. While that is noble, it does seem to limit his perspective. Myself I began designing the New World Order when I was 14. This is not to say that I am in alignment with the Neo-Cons or any other organization, it is that I worked on a program that would change the world, and yes it did include an elite el
Health Professional Storm Troopers Have you been to the doctors lately? Talked to a nurse, or other health practitioner? Ever wonder where they get their information? Look to the American Medical Association and other societies of higher learning. Wisdom should tell you that they don't call it medical practice because they have the right answer. Some years ago, oh about 300 or so, medical practitioners separated themselves from the chemist and pharmacist to study the biological system from a systemic point of view. They wanted to separate the biology from the person, and treat disease rather than people. Well not exactly, at first it was to take the religion out of the practice of medicine, but they created their own cult, and now they are lost to the cultist demi-gods. They are now the tools of the very organizations that they originally they wanted to separate themselves from. Today the pharmacologist and legal priest operate the medical organizations, and people should
Political Circus Circus Wednesday, September 03, 2008 Since the 1970’s I have been watching the political wrestling matches. Throughout that time I have watched the same namespace figure heads talk about the same issues, with less and less reality up till today. Not that this years election is any different in the content, both parties are still talking about the same old bullshit, with as much reality as they always have. I am not dumb enough to believe the bullshit they spew during the campaign, both parties are owned by corporate interest, this is a given. I guess knowing this gives me the advantage, so I can look through their BS and find what other motivation they may have. I also try to follow the money behind the party. If you put any stock in the money trail, then forget the Republicans because they don’t have the right money behind them. Yes McCain does have the majority of oil money behind him, and with his “maverick” choice of Sarah Palin only cinches that. Does anyo
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 29, 2008 Shocking Choice by John McCain WASHINGTON-- Senator John McCain just announced his choice for running mate: Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska. To follow is a statement by Rodger Schlickeisen, president of Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund. “Senator McCain’s choice for a running mate is beyond belief. By choosing Sarah Palin, McCain has clearly made a decision to continue the Bush legacy of destructive environmental policies. “Sarah Palin, whose husband works for BP (formerly British Petroleum), has repeatedly put special interests first when it comes to the environment. In her scant two years as governor, she has lobbied aggressively to open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling, pushed for more drilling off of Alaska’s coasts, and put special interests above science. Ms. Palin has made it clear through her actions that she is unwilling to do even as much as the Bush administration to address the impacts of global warming. Her most rece
Rehab Drug rehabilitation is for the rich. For the most part only those that can afford the ridiculous prices of the rehabilitation centers, either with cash or with their insurance, can afford rehab. For those people that need rehab that do not have high grade health insurance, or are just plain rich, there are fewer options. There are a few options, but most of them are publicly funded options that do not address the real reasons people are addicted to drugs, but just the physical addiction. The medical rehab is good for detoxify, but does nothing for the person, which means once they have left the detoxify program, they will relapse, making the process a waste of public funding. That of course may be why they are in operation. Public funded projects tend to be that way. The same seems to be for prisons, which at this point are another holding point for drug addicts and drug pushers. Well not all drug pushers; some drug pushers are given a license to push drugs. We call them

Clusterfuck Nation Archive Index Just take a moment to check out Jim's fascinating site. Although I don't agree totally with what he has to say, I do agree with the basic grit he has.
Watching Me On 20/20 last night they had a story about search engines and what they track. So they hinted at the fact that search engines track me. Besides already knowing this, I also subscribe to Stumble , Digg , MySpace , and several other social and bookmarking sites, all of which track how I use the web. It is my experiment to see if I can be tracked throughout the web. I really would like to see what others think I am thinking. Can they tell from what I search what I think? I guess it will take some time to figure out. I also have several blogs, which all have different aspects of how I work on things. So maybe if they put it all together they might get some idea, but somehow I do not think they will. I somehow think that if they did put everything together I might be expecting a knock on the door from the government. It is not that I am subversive per se, but that I certainly touch on lots of subversive subjects. But what is subversive? I think that subversion is ki

Diabetes researchers convert pancreas cells to produce insulin - Los Angeles Times

Diabetes researchers convert pancreas cells to produce insulin - Los Angeles Times By Karen Kaplan, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer August 28, 2008 "Injecting a cocktail of proteins directly into the bodies of diabetic mice, researchers have converted normal pancreas cells into insulin-producing cells -- a genetic transformation that could pave the way for treating intractable diseases and injuries using a patient's own supply of healthy tissue." Having read this article about using proteins to change the properties of functioning cells to perform the work of non functioning cells shows promise. I do have my concerns, but this definitely requires additional research to address my concerns about their delivery by a virus, and if they have the ability to turn the method off.

Manila Bulletin Online

Manila Bulletin Online Finfishes featured in Sept. agri-mag Article that covers many different articles available about Organic and Natural Farming. I have yet to discover all they have but they should be worth reading anyhow. They have a nice feature, their Desktop Headlines . They do not seem to have any RSS feature, something they should consider. Another news resource worth looking into.

ARISE to show new voting device- Syracuse.com

ARISE to show new voting device- Syracuse.com On the Voting Machine files: This article discusses the use of a new voting machine to enable people with disabilities to vote without assistance. On the surface this is a great idea, and like most good ideas, I am concerned that this will be a "good idea at the time" type of idea. I agree that people with disabilities should have the right and ability to vote, privately and without encumbrance, however I have my doubts about electronic voting machines. If voting were to be done electronically perhaps it should be done from our own homes via a web interface, either way there is too much potential for tampering. However this goes to the voting doesn't really matter anymore file. For now I am still researching this and will provide new information when I run into more information.
I feel like I should be upset, but I am not really. Today I received an email from blogger that one of my newest blogs http://cookingwithahammer.blogspot.com was flagged as spam. I wonder why they have done this. They say it was picked up by their bot, but I still wonder what triggered the bot. Was it the links, because if it was, I use links all the time in my blogs, to point to references or to other sources, or just other sites I find interesting. Was it because the links were in a row, all mushed together, because they were all relative. Well maybe because I was indicating a list of companies that all have serious control over our food supply. Was that it, because I mentioned companies like ADM , Cargill , Monsanto , Exxon/Mobile and a few others that continuously use genetically modified seed stocks to feed the world population, as well as other types of chemicals (see Exxon/Mobile (formally Rockefeller's Standard Oil)). If that was it, let me add a few others to the
Farmer Withdrawn from Board Nomination BY ANN S. KIM Blethen Maine Newspapers Gov. John Baldacci on Wednesday withdrew his nomination of an organic blueberry grower to the Board of Pesticides Control after intense lobbying against her by groups that represent conventional farmers. Pressure from conventional farmer lobbyist has successfully prevented a fully qualified person from serving on the Pesticides Control Board, creating a vacuum that will eventually be filled with a person who is not environmentally connected, as is per their own board charter. They will continue to reject nominations that do not suit their ideal, until they can place someone that does support their ideals, even if this person may indicate that they do not. This is one example of how the organization is operated in the minor leagues along side the main stream agenda. This story will not make major headlines, and will soon be forgotten. This is a bell weather story, look for more stories like it throughout t
