I think I am going to post some pictures later with my post, so I can share with everyone including those that follow me on pinterest, as well as just to work on my picture editing skills.
Went to Mimi's Drive In Diner in Fulton, NY today. Have been there several times in the past, so I know what to expect, not much. Like 99% of these dives, they are all the same, and why are they all the same, because they all buy from the same supplier Sysco. This is what gives them all the sameness, no matter where you go. The same fried chicken, the same meatloaf, the same burgers. Now all I have to ask is how the hell hard is this diner food to do, really. The reason every one of them is the same is because they are lazy, they don't want to source their own suppliers. That would be like work or something. Besides they have half wits for cooks, who would not know a butcher from a buccaneer. There is something to be said for sameness though. Every one of these dives should have the same stuff on their menus, that part is true. But really how hard is it to make a meatloaf. Let me explain that, you have chopped meat, bread crumbs, and egg. That's about it, well...
Another Jane I am on the bus to nowhere And she slips in beside me Her lithe frame barely there Her dress is tattered and torn She tries to smile Her sadness remains No I don’t know her name Just another lost soul She gets off at the next stop Shuffles along the aisle The driver seems annoyed I step up and pay her fare I sit back in my seat Watching her disappear I think of her sometimes When I feel I’ve had enough When life gets me down When if seems a waste I think of her half smile The sadness contained Never seen her again Likely dead in some alleyway Buried in a potter's grave Another nameless Jane JD
Market Scan China Sweats U.S. Debt Securities, Pressuring Prices Melinda Peer, 03.13.09, 10:25 AM EDT Apprehension from Beijing regarding its the security of its massive U.S. assets causes prices on Treasuries to fall. If they are concerned, maybe we should be concerned. This is a big O can of WTF that is yet to be fully opened. I can at this time only say, wow, where did it all go, where did it go?
