Winging it Again

Well now I am trying again to make it on my own, so to speak. I have been let go from my previous employment, at which I served as a construction manager. Oh, well it was alright, but to be honest, I could not keep up appearances. My former employer is to say, a less than noble landlord. I had problems with his ethics and let us just leave it at that.

So here I am again trying to hawk my services as a contractor, again. What I need is a silent partner. Someone who will fund a few initial startup cost, and provide me with the means to obtain the actual working capital I need to get and keep the operation rolling. I am looking for someone who understands craftsmanship, understands opportunity, and recognizes value, with out a lot of MBA bullshit. I am a simple kind of operator, I do good quality work, for fair prices, and all I really want is a little take home pay, and maybe some appreciation for a job well done.

So that's about it for now, will think about this for a while, and then maybe write some more later, peace.

April 4, 2014 Update in General

Friday, April 4, 2014 Well today I am going to have to call the guy about the land, and update him on our progress.  Which is to say I will have to stall him while I try to figure out how to raise the money for the down payment.  I had thought it was going to be relatively cut and dry, or at least it seemed so, that we were going to the SSA and they would give us the money that they owe Arleta so we could use it to pay the down payment, our first months payment, and still have enough left over to move our stuff.  No, not so, instead they want to argue about it, like it was their money, like we were stealing it from them.  I mean it is SSI not SSD so I guess it is tax payer money, but really, to the point of being almost belligerent to Arleta, trying to bully her, I mean really, how absurd. Can You See 2020 From Here

Hey, let us all take an interest in this election, won't that be a hoot.  I'm just looking into the Democratic front runners, but I will be looking at them and others for a while. Let's hang out and see what tomorrow brings In the first feel, Biden vs Sanders, it is a east coast vs west coast your of thing.  They are both neocon Democrats with liberal tendencies.  I think, just napkin thinking here, that Biden could have the edge, but Sanders has the cleaner past.  They are not old boy southern Dems, or dyed in the wool blue bloods, or even staunch conservative whip politicians either, so what the hell are they. Shall we dig a little deeper and find out?  Of course we should, and the rest of the political scene.  I am going to avoid the politics of the Republicans for now, it is just too volitile to touch right at the moment, even for me.
